Bogman's Ball
Every year, Peacockes Hotel is the location for the annual Bogman's Ball. This is a major event in the West of Ireland, and is famous throughout the world.
Every year on the Tuesday after the October Bank holiday weekend the Big Fair takes place at Maam Cross. People from all over the British isles come to buy and selling their anaimals and bric-a- brack on the crossroads in the old fashioned way.
