There are 26 bedrooms in total within the Rock Glen Hotel, half of which are located on the ground floor. All rooms are ensuite and have T.V, radio, trouser press, hairdryer and direct dial telephone.
The hotels restaurant is very popular with guests with an great choice of meats, game and shellfish. Guests can choose from an a la carte or table d'hote menu. Popular dishes include wrlm salad of smoked duck with pistachio nut and strawberry dressing and pan fried fillet steak topped with a leek puree and smoked goobeen served with a garlic jus.
The lounge and piano bar is a great place for a relaxing drink with a turf fire and comfy armchairs. In the evening guests can sit back and enjoy the soft music played by the resident pianist.
Close to Rock Glen are two beautiful sanding beaches great for walking, swimming or water sports, these are Mannin Bay anad Ballyconneely.
Rugged Connemara is very popular for hill waking with it's many untamed picturesque walks. Other popular activities in the area include sea, lake and river fishing, pony trekking - with the well renowned Connemara Ponies.
